Certification for crane operators and signal persons is long overdue; however, navigating your way through the certification process can be difficult and confusing.
The NCCCO Certification is currently the only nationally recognized certification for crane operators and signal persons. In order to become NCCCO certified, persons must pass a written exam and a practical (hands on) exam administered by NCCCO Licensed Practical Examiners.
Previously, training for the written exam involved operators to lose at least five days of production time to sit in a classroom at an average cost of about $7,000. With online training, operators can prepare for written exams at their own pace, at their own location, and for a much lower cost. In addition, individuals can spend as much or little time as they need on different topics based on individual skill levels.
Operator Network has NCCCO licensed practical examiners on staff and can facilitate all the training, streamline the application and scheduling process, and administer the exams. Currently training and test administration is only held for companies at their locations and on their equipment. Call a representative today for more information about scheduling your NCCCO exam. |
